Imagine an 1890s mercantile filled with Victorian antiques and collectables, warmed by a log-fed cast iron stove. The scent of precious teas steep and mingle with the sweet aroma of home-baked pies and breads. Crisp linens, china and fresh flowers dress your table as you settle into a four-course high tea—a tiered tower of traditional tea sandwiches and special holiday pastries accompanied by live music from our grand piano. Memories of silver miners from England dance with the railroad barons on the old plank floors as you savor a Cornish pasty or hearty chicken pie. Don an antique hat and liven up the conversation at your table.

If you can imagine this, you can imagine breakfast, lunch or holiday tea at the Silver Plume Antique Shop and Tea Room. In the summer, our outdoor tea garden is a gathering place for railroad or mining buffs to enjoy breathtaking views, or for gardeners with a love of wildflowers eager to see what’s blooming at 9,200 feet.

But why imagine? Come see and taste for yourself. Patrons near and far come to enjoy our food and our friendship.
